Plenty of good Alabama Football news from Dallas – Bama Hammer

Monday was a good news day for Alabama Football. It was also another workday for the Alabama Crimson Tide as the team prepares for its Friday afternoon, semi-final game with Cincinnati.
On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bearcats attended the NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington. As a group, the Crimson Tide players decided to pass on the outing. As reported by Charlie Potter of 247Sports, Tide linebacker, and member of the player leadership group, Will Anderson Jr. explained why he and his teammates skipped the game.
… everybody had a mutual understanding of we know what’s going on, it was really good. … The team has responded very well. There hasn’t been any complaining, no negativity. Nobody’s been a cancer. Everybody responded the right way, and practice has been great.

Anderson and his teammates were concerned about more than a Sunday night distraction. They are being cautious in an effort to reduce the risk of any Tide player missing the game because of COVID. The Alabama Football program recently released details that 100% of the team was fully vaccinated and 92% have received a booster shot.
Even better news on Monday came from a statement made by Crimson Tide, Defensive Coordinator, Pete Golding. Talking about cornerback, Jalyn Armour-Davis, Golding said,

Many Alabama football fans believe Davis has been the Tide’s best cornerback this season. Having him for the semi-final will be a boost to the entire secondary.
Another comment by Will Anderson Jr. will please Crimson Tide fans. Asked about a role reversal from being an underdog against Georgia, the Tide’s sensational sophomore said,

The mindset of the Crimson Tide on Monday does not bode well for Cincinnati. A fully focused Alabama football team will be too much for the Bearcats.
Alabama Crimson Tide fans are wondering why the Bearcats want a ‘Blackout’ when they are wearing white jerseys for the game. Some things just can’t be explained.
